Talking to the Nostr Africa voice assistant
Ask questions by voice about Mugisha Jean and Nostr Africa projects, in English or French.
On nostr.africa you can talk to a voice assistant that answers questions about Mugisha Jean and the Nostr Africa projects. It understands and replies in English and French.
1Start a conversation
- Open nostr.africa in an up-to-date browser on a device with a microphone.
- Click the round microphone button (bottom-right of the page) to start the conversation.
- Allow microphone access when your browser asks.
- When you see “Listening…”, ask your question. The assistant shows “Thinking…”, then answers out loud (“Speaking…”) and shows the text.
- Keep talking after each answer. It is a continuous conversation.
- Click End conversation when you have finished.
2Language
English is the default. Say “I speak French” or “Je parle français” to switch to French. The EN | FR buttons are a backup if voice switching does not work.
3Tips
- Use a quiet place and ask short, clear questions, for example “What does Nostr Africa Hosting cost?”
- If it says “Didn't catch that”, simply ask again.
- If you see “Reply ready – click page if audio is blocked”, click anywhere on the page so your browser allows the sound.
- “Mic permission needed” means the browser blocked the microphone: allow it in your browser's site settings.
4Good to know
Answers can be wrongThe assistant is an AI and keeps answers short. For prices, orders and anything important, confirm with us using the Request a build form on the home page, WhatsApp or email. The assistant cannot take orders or payments.
PrivacyYour voice recording is processed on our own server to turn it into text and is not kept afterwards. The text of your questions may appear in our server logs, so please do not share passwords or other sensitive personal information.
